Happy days again for the team.  Yesterday the weather stayed dry for the sidecar race at Aintree.  There were some hold ups in the morning due to the muddy condition of the circuit, so sidecars were sent out to clean up!!

There were 17 outfits on the starting grid and we were mid field.  An excellent start and a smooth five lap race.

We finished 5th and PCG racing brought home their 1st trophy as a team.  Great result after the past few weeks.

Today is a a sad day for PCG racing team.  We should be at Oulton Park racing with the Derby Phoenix Club.  Unfortunately Passenger Claire had a nasty accident on her push bike and was not well enough to race.  Although Claire is feeling loads better today it would not have been a wise move to be out on the track.                       

The team have not had much luck lately - Anglesey on 21st August was a very disappointing result after Paul struggled with the pain in his back and felt generally unwell, the next day he came down with the flu and spent the next few days in bed.

Organisers of the Derby Phoenix, Mallory event 11th September put PCG Racing in reserve and after team discussion it was decided to save the entry fee and buy a new back tyre for the outfit - so yet again another race cancelled.  

September 17th is Aintree.  Claire will be fit enough and everyone will be keen to race.
